Building upon our initial strengths within the production and print procurement area, Mtivity's hosted solution has evolved to address the core production processes involved in planning and executing marketing campaigns. These include, for example; campaign planning & budgeting, artwork amendment and approval, print procurement, fulfullment, and distribution.

Patrick has over 20 years experience in senior management with technology companies including IBM, Sybase, Macromedia, and Borland. Prior to moving to London, he spent 12 years in Silicon Valley with 3 start up software companies backed by Sequoia Capital, Trinity Ventures, Cisco, and Netscape. All three companies exited, one via IPO on Nasdaq and the others via acquisition to Macromedia and Scene7. Patrick graduated from the University of California, Davis with a degree in Economics and has Masters from London Business School.
With over 9 years experience in technology management, Trent brings a unique blend of technical, people and project management expertise to his role with Mtivity. Prior to taking on his current role, Trent was responsible for driving Mtivity's service delivery throughout the UK and Europe. Before joining Mtivity in 2003, Trent was a Senior Project Manager with one of Australia's leading web application providers, managing project delivery, business analysis, account management and customer support for the company's key clients. Trent's academic grounding in Psychology and Social Research (B.Beh. Sc., B. Psych. (Hons)), combined with his technical and Project Management qualifications, provide a vital link between people, business and technology.
Laurence has over 15 years experience with both early-stage and large companies. He held several senior finance positions with ICL-Fujitsu before taking on the FD role at WebPerform, an internet start-up which was later acquired by US software vendor Gomez Inc. Prior to joining Mtivity, Laurence was FD at Outcome Technologies which was subsequently acquired by the health and care organisation BUPA. Laurence holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Edinburgh and is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA).
Matt has over fifteen years experience in general management and sales leadership in the technology services and software industry. Prior to joining Mtivity, Matt co-founded WebPerform, which was backed by Doughty Hanson and later sold to US software vendor Gomez. While with Gomez, he served as Vice President of Europe. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Sussex.
Anthony brings 10 years of product development experience in building e-commerce and SaaS applications at lastminute.com and Simply D’nA . He has gained a wealth of software development and architect experience with Internet start-up companies and has gone on to hold several team and management positions. Anthony is now responsible for Mtivity’s product development and the management of its innovative programming team. Anthony holds a BSc (IT) degree from the University of Johannesburg and an MBA (Executive) from London Business School.
Anil has been actively involved in the Technology for Marketing sector for most of his career. Previously Principal Consultant at Seven Worldwide, Anil has been instrumental in managing Global deployments for a diverse range of Corporate Organisations spanning a number of vertical markets, including FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Retail and Finance. Focusing heavily on Marketing Supply Chain Re-engineering and Change Management, Anil has assisted many marketing departments in driving cost and time out of their marketing processes. Anil graduated from University College London and the London School of Economics with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Finance.
John is a Technology entrepreneur, with investments in a number of companies. He is also currently Chairman of 3 technology companies including AIM listed, Portrait Software plc, Columba Systems Ltd, and Mtivity Ltd, John founded Staffware, a pioneer of workflow/BPM software industry, which listed in 1996 in the first year of AIM. Staffware then went onto the main LSE market in 2000, prior to it being sold to Tibco Software for $260 million in June 2004, with offices in 20+ countries.
John holds a ‘Master of Information Technology’ from AIIM International and was awarded the Carl E. Nelson Innovation Award in New York for 'leadership in expanding the utilization of workflow and business management technologies.' He has co-authored a book entitled ‘Mastering Your Organization's Processes’. He co-founded the Technology Leadership Group within The Prince’s Trust, of which he is a Patron.
John is also Chairman of London Wasps Rugby Club Holdings Ltd, one of Europe’s leading professional clubs and a major provider of international players to England and other countries.
Peter has worked in the software and IT industry for over 20 years, initially for the European subsidiaries of US companies. He has worked for large organisations such as Sun Microsystems and has launched a US start-up company into Europe. In 1996 he founded Simulus, a UK-based performance management software company, where he was CEO. Simulus was acquired by BMC Software, Inc in 2002. After BMC, Peter Colaluca became the CEO of Webperform, another UK-based early stage software company, which he sold to Gomez, Inc. He is now a software advisor and venture partner, and is on the Board of three software companies.
An experienced corporate financier, Russell joined Hotbed in 2006 from KBC Peel Hunt where he led the pre-IPO practice. He was also responsible for the unquoted client base and managed a portfolio of private company investments. Russell has led Hotbed's growth capital investments in Keronite, Empathy Marketing and Mtivity.
Prior to KBC, Russell trained as a Chartered Accountant at Arthur Andersen where he worked in the corporate recovery and turnaround teams before joining the corporate finance department as a director.
Rob was managing director of Xerox UK from 1999 to 2002, and has an extensive track record in the global technology sector, with particular expertise in graphic arts. He previously served as CEO of Compaq EMEA, and in his position as SVP of Compaq’s global operations was responsible for all operational and financial aspects of the company’s worldwide business, consisting of a workforce of some 70,000 people.
John Morrison is a director of Alliance Trust Equity Partners ("ATEP"), the private equity division of Alliance Trust PLC. ATEP's direct investments in venture capital target early stage, high growth, technology opportunities with a focus on enterprise software and healthcare companies based in the United Kingdom.
John is a chartered accountant who has focussed exclusively on making and managing early stage venture capital deals since 1996. During this period he has successfully completed and managed several technology transactions and taken board positions on several portfolio companies.
In 1987 Clive acquired Marketing Drive from the DMB&B Group and proceeded to establish the business as one of the leading promotional marketing consultancies in the UK working with clients such as Guinness Brewing Worldwide, United Distillers, Asda, McVitie's, KP Foods, TOTAL and Wella amongst many others. In 1998 Marketing Drive was acquired by True North Communications. Clive was on the worldwide board and was President for the operations outside of the USA. In July 2001 Clive founded the consultancy and investment company Mentor Marketing & Investment (MMI) that is focussed on providing the capital and experience to support the growth of businesses. In this capacity Clive has become involved in businesses that cover the areas of marketing, technology, businesses services, property and construction. Along with Mtivity, Clive is currently involved with Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw, The Pulse Group, Circa Group, Yoomedia.
Clive was elected the first Lifetime Vice President of the Marketing Communications Consultants Association (MCCA) is a Fellow of The Institute of Sales Promotion (ISP) and a Board Director from September 2005. In October 2002 Clive was elected to the Marketing Committee of the MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club)
