Egg has speeded up the time it takes to complete its design projects with the introduction of the latest marketing resource software from Mtivity.
The online bank's internal design agency, which creates offline and online customer communications on behalf of all its in-house departments, is using the web-based service to manage the workflow of all its marketing activities, tracking the time and money spent on each job.
Mtivity 4.0 replaces Egg's old system based on a combination of Excel and Outlook, which was proving too time consuming and inefficient to manage. Mia Sabel, head of Egg's internal design agency, says frequently the creative teams will take a brief in the morning and the requirement is for the finished work to be out of the door within 24 hours.
The new system also gives the company a clearer view on budgets and resources in addition to improving efficiency in managing briefs, providing more accurate timesheet reporting and making it easier to audit jobs and reallocate resources should a staff member fall ill.
Furthermore, it supports staff in multiple locations as well as freelancers and on both Macs and PCs, while providing account managers with a real-time view of the work in progress. New jobs and changes are automatically communicated to all team members, contractors and freelancers.
