We are delighted to announce that Ian Hutchinson has joined the Mtivity Professional Services team. Ian has more than 22 years of experience in IT project delivery, the last 13 years being with Xerox.

Ian will be focussed on pre-sales and implementation of Mtivity based solutions for Xerox and will own the service delivery into Xerox accounts – bringing over 10 years of experience of robust, process focussed project delivery in a Xerox environment.

Ian first joined Xerox in 1995 as a software development project manager for the UK arm of a PSG global software development business. In 1997 whilst on secondment to the Xerox Research Centre in Cambridge, Ian successfully completed the Xerox Management Excellence programme before leading software development efforts for customers of document management and workflow systems including the UN World Intellectual Property Office, Geneva (2000-2001).

Ian moved to Xerox UK in 2001 in a professional services pre-sales and implementation role, working notably with Accenture and BT on the NHS Connecting for Health IT programme. In 2006 Ian joined Xerox Europe in the same capacity and worked on DWP PASS (Ion) with EDS, leading the implementation of the contact centre and CRM I.T. solution to extremely challenging deadlines. Ian has also successfully delivered the Harris integration for Scottish Widows and worked on the Lloyds TSB strategic programme in a document process re-engineering role.

Ian’s last engagement with Xerox was with EDS and Northrop Grumman on the Roadrunner project where he became a highly respected member of the pursuit team.

Ian is a computer science graduate of the University of Glasgow, has postgraduate computer science diploma, is a PRINCE 2 Project Practitioner and a member of the British Computer Society.
