16 September 2008

Mtivity are delighted to announce the appointment of two new recruits which demonstrate their commitment to continued fast growth. Gary Dalton will be taking on the role of Director of Marketing and Julie Shearer will become the new Corporate Sales Manager.

Gary has over 10 years brand management and marketing communications expertise behind him having worked working for the likes of GE Capital, Disney, Whitbread and Rank Group. Julie has spent the last 19 years at Kall Kwik, as a National Account Manager and more latterly Corporate Sales Manager for the largest Kall Kwik franchise in the UK.

Taking on a new role for Mtivity Gary will be responsible for rolling out the new Mtivity corporate identity and developing a tactical marketing plan and strategies to help deliver incremental, high quality leads. Julie will be focussing her efforts on the corporate market and extensive network of contacts to help deliver Mtivity’s ambitious sales targets.

Both of these new recruits were previous clients of Mtivity so have first hand knowledge of the product. Julie was pivotal in the decision of the Adare Group to adopt Mtivity for all Kall Kwik centres and she has spent the last few years selling Mtivity to clients as part of Kall Kwik’s overall customer proposition. Gary oversaw the implementation of Mtivity at David Lloyd Leisure throughout the chains 58 clubs leading to a significant improvement in brand control as well as speeding up processes and reducing costs.

Both Gary and Julie recognised Mtivity’s potential early on and as Gary said ‘I have known Mtivity for a number of years now, have seen them grow quickly and have always recognised their potential. The products and services they offer are truly world class and I am keen to help them develop a world class brand as well and help to deliver continued growth.’

Julie is equally keen to help Mtivity grow ‘I am excited to be part of a high growth company with so much potential. The quality of the product largely sells itself, so for me my job is to ensure I am able to get in front of the right people and clearly demonstrate what Mtivity can do for their business’
