When a leading, multi-billion dollar provider of office products and services went looking for new ways to grow revenue, it found opportunity in an unexpected place: its print division. The company, which offers customers a single source for everything they need to be more productive, serves consumers and businesses through a network of hundreds of retail stores, as well as e-commerce web sites and a dedicated business-to-business sales organization. An experienced print industry consultant was hired to help the company grow revenue from its print business.
The goal: double the company’s print-related revenue to $1 billion in the next five years.
